Grace–A Sonnet
by Judah Ruff
For man’s approval, seek we happiness.
We do what others want, not what we ought.
Relent us to desires of selfishness.
Against our God like rebels we have fought.
Of danger he warns us protectively.
His warnings heed we not because we sin.
He gives us everything, not just decrees.
In all we do, disgrace unto Him.
To keep us from all terrible mistakes,
All we will need to do is focus our
Completely wordly eyes upon God’s grace,
And heed God’s words completely every hour.
If we catch ourselves in doing awful deeds,
Remember God and know He’ll meet your needs.
