Fix Your Eyes to the Shepherd

For many years our culture
has been drawn to see worse things,
Our sight diverts our mind.
Our human thoughts entice from dusk to dawn,
By being glued to stuff, our tone ain’t kind.
Distractions seep into our past real life,
Where family, friends, a great priority.
Ignoring them can bring emotional strife.
Temptations lead our life to causality.
Yet we can look deep down into our heart And see
we had neglect the ones we love.
In then is where true meaning won’t depart,
While God brings joy and peace from above.
In Him there is the Helping true pure hand.
Our God herds sheep back home within the land.
